That is what was posted on a forum . The guy was joking. He said his Parrot took advantage of him. Expected breakfast in bed, Warm dinner every evening . Shower on demand and a lot of other silly stuff. Most on the site knew the man was 100% dedicated to the Parrot he was just making a joke.

The forum BLEW up Everything from I want him to you should never be allowed to own a parrot. Most that knew what was going on were to busy laughing at the influx of hate being sent to this man.

I posted a story exotic birds were living in horrible conditions. I went back to read for any updates. All I saw was I WANT I WANT. People were NOT reading. The ones that rescued these birds were begging for donations. Food That's all ! FOOD ! People were posting I want GIVE ME . Serious Read when it comes to helping . Please read . read the full story .

If you do not trust a rescue . Contact Amazon . Tell them you want to buy a bag of food and send. You do not have to send money and if the Rescue is only asking for cash . Mark them off. Ask if they need food , bedding , cages then set up donation. If they are a honest site they will accept.

I mailed Henpecked once. He told me . All I want to do is find homes for these birds. THAT Is the type of people you want to deal with.

Thank you

Now lets see how many post I can take your bird . Shame on you

I'm sad to say it, but it's far from surprising. I recently read a Facebook post made by a rescue and rehabilitation centre in India. They were over joyed that they had found babies that had fallen out of their nests because it meant that the illegal parrot traders had finally left the area. It had a photo of the babies they were feeding to regain strength before rehabilitating and releasing back into the wild... there were posts about "PLS PLS I WANT I NEED A BIRD", "My bird needs a mate can I have please?!", etc. I was shaking my head at the ignorance. There will always be people who look at pics only and don't bother to read any text LOL. Sad but true!
