I'm so glad to be home again after the holidays during our trip we went to the San Antonio zoo - a must for bird lovers it was really neat I got to go behind the scenes and the zoo keeper showed me how they do their food and keep records and opened the cages so i could get good pics without bars! anyways here's some beatiful birdys so enjoy!!!

Very nice.
I liked the little pink and grey Galah. He looked a little bewildered.
They are pests here and farmers shoot them in the thousands. They have been called the clowns of the parrot world coz they will do anything to make u laugh.
Not the brightest of birds, but the perfect starter parrot in Australia.
My wife actually went to buy me a Pinky last week for Xams but came home with the Corella instead (My 1st bird, 8 days now)). Im not complaining coz the Corella is a more "man sized" bird.
Ones countries pest is another countries exotic.
mmmm hang on, there could be a dollar in this now that i think about it,....
