So I don't know who on here is in the United States celebrating but thought it would be nice to wish everyone a happy weekend any way wherever you all may be! Also thank you to all veterans and family members ♡♡♡

I live in San Diego, a Navy Town, so Memorial Day events are prolific. Local newspaper printed a special section Saturday. About a dozen or so veterans of current and long-ago wars were profiled in fascinating detail.

Last two years a realtor has planted small American Flags on the each front lawn (or dirt patch, as we are in a drought!) as a nice touch.

Will be working beginning Sunday, but will watch for local events during my travels.
