To me this is inspiration to never give up and that although things may look bad at times they may be different if we look at them from a different perspective it may not be as bad and once appeared .

My favourite saying is "leave them while they want you to stay."

Oooh, sorry! - Reason!

I like it because it ensures you aren't a bad guest outstaying their welcome and I sort of wish other people would follow it when I'm trying to shut my shop after a 12hr day lol

Great topic!

Mine is "Everything happens for a reason"

Troughout my life so many things have happened, many of them I thought were bad at the time but as it turned out something good happened as a result. This has happened far too many times for it to be mere coincidence. Even when there has been a death, shortly before or after there has been a birth - it's almost like that death had to occur for the new life to enter into the family. Apologies for the dark topic.

Do I sound mad? Well I am the mad parrot woman - one has a reputation to live up to ;-)

Well, I don't really consider it a "quote," but The Serenity Prayer is something I try to somehow apply to my life.....especially lately.

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Accepting the things I cannot change is definitely the hardest part for me.
