Ahhh, the joys of Day Light Savings Time!!!

Every discussion I have even heard about the advantages of involving one's self in this twice per year 'time waster' fly's against logic. The only Humans (Cause the Animals do not care! After all they are all on Sun Time!!!) are 'possibly' those on the Eastern Edge of a Time Zone!!!

Twice every year, I get to fuss with the Grandfather's Clock to reset its time. Anyone who has or had one knows that they really do not like to be fussed with at all! All the while, I have a DYH Amazon providing comment as to the chimes and their odd and extensive ringing!!! Sometimes, Management just makes the task at hand more of a pain that its needs to be!!!

I tried to tell the flock that we get to sleep in an extra hour today, but they were not on board with that. I hate changing all the digital clocks, too:(

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
I am not a fan of early darkness. Definitely compresses my evening workload getting the birds ready for bed. Summer is so much better for so many reasons!!

Of course our forum is very international, and many in the summer hemisphere are enjoying their summer!!

Not currently enjoying outlet spring/summer. At work with no air con and it supposed to reach 40 degrees C today.

At 104 degrees F, that's just uncomfortable anywhere, especially with no AC!

Buzz and Buddy didn't get the memo about an extra hour of sleep. Sunday morning I woke the chirping of baby birds and wolf whistles courtesy of Buzz, and Buddy's replies to prove he can be louder and better. Today I have to check to see if I'm now 1 or 2 hours ahead of Phoenix now since they do not observe daylight savings time to make sure I don't miss any meetings, lol.

Changing the clocks in the house doesn't help my built in clock! Up at 3am sharp this morning as a result:rolleyes: As someone who has never needed an alarm to wake up and gets up naturally between 4-5am, this whole time change thing throws me for a loop twice a year:mad:. It really is outdated and unnecessary in this day and age and needs to be changed IMO.

I have a rather large and cumbersome clock that hangs above the table in the kitchen that I don't change. It's finally showing the right time again, although I keep thinking it's an hour later since it's been an hour behind all summer.
