Taking mom to Parrot class!

A local Parrot rescue does classes for owners/potential adopters. Classes on basic care, dealing with Aggression and screaming, handling, and trouble shooting behaviors.

With the new baby coming home I figured I'd take the early trouble shooting class... And I'm dragging mom with me

As she lives with me I want to make sure she feels comfortable with how to handle issues that may arise. Mind you she can handle my Conures (except my 'one person' Jenday) and interacts with my blind Zon(who won't let her touch her yet.

We'll get to work with and meet a bunch of different birds and learn about common behavior issues and how to fix them. Let's hope mom can pay attention or my B&G baby will walk all over her.....

My maybe I'll get some new ideas on fixing the monster I accidentally created AKA- Kellan the Jenday lol. Time outs are a no go for him.

What a great idea! Please share everything they talk about, it is fantastic that they do that!
We also have a one person Jenday, and the one person isn't me He tries to eat me alive anytime I get anywhere close to his cage. Jury loves his Daddy.
