Got a heads up about this article from relatives in the Oregon area.

Link doesn't connect, at least for me. But I did Google the story and was happy to see that other groups in Northern California have received approval to release Condors in their area, which will open the range to much further North.

When I first saw your Thread, I thought, oh great, yet another group leaving California to escape the high taxes.

Nor I, but the Condor story is rich with dedication and phenomenal results. Sadly, they have challenges with their new lease on life with environmental challenges, leaded bullets in carrion, etc.
