Harness for Jordan

Despite fostering out my birds, I still take the time to do things like this and sorting out their favorite seeds and pellets from the mixes. I have a video of me feeding my birds (and sorting the foods) and if your interested I'll post a thread about it. Anywho, like last year, today I started working on harness and flight suit designs that work best with each bird. This year I only have to make 2. Flights suits have been crossed off the list, I hate trying to get those things on. The flight suits I designed are without the "bird diaper". They are more like a harness, but you also have to get the feet through a hole (that's a pain in the butt!). So I'm sticking to harnesses. I prefer to make my own, but since I now have a job I'll buy a harness for Jordan. First I have to figure out what design best suits her. And that's a pain, literally she bites! Unlike when I first put a harness on Elvis, Jordan didn't really bite at it once it was on, but she screamed and but when she saw it. I need one that doesn't go over her head.
Opal bites when I get near her, so she won't be harness trained this year, instead I'll get something so she can come outside, I'll get her a smaller cage (I mean smaller than a cockatiel cage, I've never had a budgie cage!) and put it out on the porch, that way she can be with me and the others if they still haven't left by time May comes around.
Last year I started harness training Elvis at this time, and he was ready to go when the weather was warm enough for him in mid May. I'm looking forward to having Jordan outside with me this year, and even though they might be gone by then, I can still visit them and bring them outside which me.
I just know she'll love it! Elvis and Chrissy did.
