Well, for Halloween, the birds are going to help me give out candy. Hopefully if they remember to put it in the children's bags, not play with them, lol. I'm going to be a nerd for my coustume.

My plan is to answer the door, over and over and over...dressed as a tired middle aged lady! Not much dressing up to that!!!

If Fred is in a good mood, I may have him at the top of the stairs on his stand. The kids would be entertained if he's in the right mood!

Ap, thats awesome lol you wont have to dress up too much you bird-nerd ;) hehe jkjk :D

Sharon, sounds entertaining, maybe you could teach Freddie to say "BOO!" When kids come in the door lol. Although might not be such a good thing year round...

Fred tends to be a "big wuss" with new things. I expect the costumes will scare him, and I'll have to place him where he can't see.

Toughie!

I was going to decorate the shop like last year. We dressed up and handed out free sweets too.

This time I was going to put paper round the bottom of Cal's cage(where she can't get to) with bloody handprints and fake birdie ones...

We got married the day before halloween last year so we were dracula and his bride lol.

However....I have my parents visiting all the way from Scotland so I will have to see!!!

George I love it!!!!!

Ok, so I have spent part of October helping the American Cancer Association by vollunteering at the local huanted house. It's been great. I have been Jason's mom, a gypsy, a spider victim, and a clown. Now I spend most of the time guiding. That's my favorite job. I have been kicked, run into, fallen on, shoved. It's like the funnest thing when you get a bunch of people who scream their heads off.

Also I finally found somewhere I fit in. Totally my type of poeple.

Now for halloween I will be taking my kids trick or treating through our town. Also will be going to the Mumers parade the day before (saturday the 30th) and Friday the 29th I will be at the haunted house for the last time even though it runs through the 31st.

Busy busy busy. My Favorite time of Year!!!!!

Please excuse sucky spelling.

Merry, Sam and Gem will pretend to be well behaved and innocent little birds and help me give out candy. I will be on my own with the parrots, keets, dogs, cats and the outside crowd ( horses and ducks ) as Kat will be skating in Minnesota, Peter's unit will be doing crowd control for a Halloween event in nearby park and Misha is on call at the hospital. I had an invite to go to a party but by time I get back to United States Saturday I am going to literally be a zombie so I will be perfect person to open the door.
