Its been a very long time since I have been exposed to far too many hours of TV Comics for Young Girls. Last week was Spring Break and the Hormonal Tilt in our household had shifted heavy to the Female side of the scale - 4 to 1. And, it didn't help that our Amazon quickly figured-out that the Girls would clearly be in control and to say he played to them would be kind!

Anyway, I seem to remember back a bunch of years ago that the news was filled with complains that TV Comics and Toys targeting young girls presented 'unrealistic' images of body, make-up and clothing styles that was seriously inappropriate for young and teenage girls! And a FYI, TV Comics was limited to Saturday Morning.

After being faced with hours, 'everyday, near all day' of this 'new age' TV Comics and their TV adds pushing the stuff the TV Comic girls and boys where wearing. It stuck me that if anything, things have become even more 'unrealistic!' I understand that sex sells and if true, what is coming will be an ever more 'bare facts' reality then what was complained about those many years ago.

Heavily styled hair, heavy application of make-up, tiny skirts over a long legged, pencil thin body. Now that's the 'Real World' that is being presented today!?! And, what boys that are part of the TV Comic was at a ratio of 5 girls to every 1 boy. Plus these 'boys' clearly had been greatly feminized with make-up and what clothing they wore.

Now many years later, when those that complained so loudly are now in control. They have clearly moved to a more realistic view of what young girls should mold themselves!?! Really? What the Heck is really going on here? Whatever it is, those who complained are now in control and the loud complains have been replaced with silence!

Underwear, with a vail for a cover seems to be the direction style is headed. And, those who are taking the young down that road complained so loudly before and now pushing unrealistic as realistic!

The products that support this new real world must be Haircare, Make-up and I guess underwear manufacturers.

As a closure: Mommas, don't let your boys grow-up to be cowboys! Cause Metro Sexuals seem to be the new norm. And, girls will likely wear little more than underwear supported with extensive make-up and over the top hair styles. Thank God for the Great White North (winter)!

There is going to be a ton of unhappy Women in the Future!

For me! Well the house has returned to its normal stated of reality! Two guys and their Overlord! :D

Fly free Plum, my gorgeous boy.
Perhaps she that must be obeyed would try the underwear, with a vail for you to see in the flesh, gain a better perspective? You better ask wearing a crash helmet though! :)

Pressure on kids these days is terrible, childhood doesn't last long.

Honestly, I have only very mirror concern with the most youngest females in my extended family. With the clear direction as to what is acceptable dress by 'she who must be obeyed' passed on with clarity to daughter and now on to the granddaughters. In addition, both of the Adult ladies are excellent shopper /coordinators and the younger ones are being well coached in that practice. Add to that, the self-confidences enhancing process and the young ones will be well prepared for a World not necessarily ready for them.

Yaaa, that's a lot of bragging! But, I have witnessed that Tigress in action when I was dragged along (the driver - snowstorm), when our third foreign exchange student was buying her prom dress. After the individual 'helping' presented the second micro dress. Too say the bloodletting was precisely preformed would be an understatement. She was then quickly replaced by the Department Manager and yes, I know its a very old term: But, the 'Bell of the Ball' and her gown was a hit! Now, what followed was just as interesting to a 'by-standing male' as the other mothers, quickly change the direction of their daughters choices. At that point, the Store Manager was called in an a verification that no dress of that design would be sold to anyone going to the same prom was assured!

Yes, yes more bragging, but it goes to the clarity of this Thread! Without the self-confidences deeply set into place, the on-slot of the daily robbery of our children's self-confidences - there are going to be lots of unhappy Women when they come to understand how used they have been. What passes for education today and clearly not the TV is going to provide this self-confidences.

The same is true for the boys regarding self-confidences! There is an older song: "I Want a Hero!" And, the World in front of us is going to require them, lots of them!
