RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Thanks for reaching out, Grace. Forum access may be difficult for Tracey, so I sent an email to her from my personal account. Will post to the forum if she responds.

Looks as if Houston is reeling terribly from the downpours and floods, and it is not yet over. Seems you are having better luck in San Antonio!

Thoughts and prayers have been (and still are) with everyone of our members affected by Hurricane Harvey over this weekend. Sincerely hoping no news is good news.

Yes. I know Taw isnt our only member in trouble. Shes just the only name i can recall right now. I dont know what yalls news is showing but being in TX just outside danger zone its truly devastating.

Hoston is a humongus lake.

News here tonight said that Houston has been hit hard and the water is still rising. Unfortunately some planned releases have happened to the reservoirs.

Some good news, that people have been fantastic in helping each other :)

Houston's my hometown. Homeswamp. I just watch tv and cry, and imagine all the things that are going on.

Thoughts, prayers, support, and strength and good luck to all there...

This happens to be my front yard and it's still raining. However, I still feel blessed. There are many who have it a lot worse

Thekarens do you have a way out if necessary?

Well, yes and no. Someone would come with a boat if necessary, but we couldn't take all our critters and I'm not willing to leave them unless or lives are on the line, which I don't anticipate. We may get a little water in the house (hopefully not) but if we do we'll live with it.

Glad you are in a relatively stable situation. Hopefully the additional rain will not pose a threat.
