if our fids could use the internet and have a forum to discuss 'their humans' what would they post about??
would they discuss our health problems and behaviours? or would they post our pics and say how cute we are?
i think in my case my fids would be discussing...

'how to stop your human singing when i'm trying to nap'
'why does my human have fun playing with my toys'
'i think my human is a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic'
'how to stop your human eating chocolate'

what secrets would yours tell.......? :54:

I really don't what to know what my fids think of me...especially Max and Miss Jady-Jade McJadypants. I'm sure I've seen Max roll his eyes at me and sometimes I know I make Jade's teeth itch (if she had teeth). Ruby, on the other hand, love me absolutely.

Fred says...

" My human is a smallish woman, and I just love small women. A man lives here as well...he's OK, but not really my type. The woman feeds me good things to eat, gives me showers, even when I don't want to. She loves to sing to me at bedtime...sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I don't know why, but she insists on an early bedtime... something about 12 hours sleep... but Geez, I LIKE to stay up late!!! My human is a little wussy. She doesn't like it if I bite just a little too hard...it's really hard for me to remember, especially when I'm playing. I'm trying to train my human, but it's not going well. I think she's very stubborn, but she is kinda cute. Maybe she'll improve with time. Even if she doesn't, I'll still love her, cause she's mine!"

Well, I spend quite a lot of time doing my homework with them and I actually tell them what I'm doing or learning. So most likely they'd probably say this:

"Our owner seems to think we can understand what energy levels you can find an alklai metal with one valence electron, or what the symbolism is in Robert Frost's 'Nothing Gold Can Stay.' The guy is crazy! And he cuddles and spoils us too much. He's willing to do whatever it takes to keeps us happy and safe. He just needs a little more patience with us. We love him so much :)"

Pepper would probably want advice on how to avoid going back into the cage after a good bitting, strategies for getting out of the cage once she's in there and a critical review of which brand of computers have the best tasting keyboards.

I think Maui and KiKi would say:

Maui to KiKi - Gosh, she's ALWAYS saying "hello", it's like she's forgotten that she's already said "hello" to us about a half zillion times already today.
KiKi to Maui - Yeah, whats up with that? forgetful human isn't she? AND BTW.. ever since you decided to oblige her with that STUPID "Wings Up" trick, she insists that I'll be doing it too, so NOW instead of her GIVING me a delicious Sunflower seed, I must hold my wings up first?? SO ridiculous and annoying!!
Maui to KiKi - I know, I guess I should have never shown her how very smart I am. But, she's so sweet and super cute when she tries to teach us how to dance and it's quite funny to watch too. She also takes great care of us both and loves us to pieces. PLUS, she DOES give us each 1/2 a grape every day, YUM, and lots of hugs and kisses, which you seem to enjoy MUCH more than I do! I'd be cool with a little scratch here and there.
KiKi to Maui - Yeah, Yeah I guess so and I really DO love those hugs and kisses, I could have her hug and kiss me ALL day long. Hey, if it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have met and become best buds now, would we? I guess I should learn that stupid "wings up" trick after all, it makes her so happy and I like to see her smile.
Maui to KiKi - Me too, KiKi, seeing her smile and happy, makes me happy too.

O you guys this post is the cutest

can you all imagine what mishka would say about ant gosh she's bad enough now lol

my birds would ask why the crazy human wears this thing that resembles a bear of some kind for most of the day even when it's super hot outside ( dressing gown )
and why she reguiritates her food into a plastic bucket and not for me ( bad morning sickness )
they'd also wonder why I choose to socialize with predators ( my cat and dogs ) and why I don't mind all these changes and new things in my environent
they may wonder why I have such a huge cage and why I so readily accept other members into it
and why I walk everywhere instead of fly
why I chew my food with a knife and fork and not my foot and beak lol

Sam and Gem would probably post together. They would use the section for "behavioural concerns" and seek advice from fellow conures on encouraging human consistency and promoting predictable actions and reactions. They would describe their parront as

a relatively typical specimen of her species ...always multi tasking and a bit frazzled and showing some gray in her feathers. They would applaud my gentle kisses and scratches and worry I am not serious about my responsibility to them since I frequently disappear for days or even weeks and leave them to the care of a guy who, while very nice, speaks a different language and feeds us blinni, and borscht and kasha. They would likely share fears about the parront's tendency to suddenly shout out phrases like "where are my car keys?! " and "who is the kid sleeping on the couch? " and (of special concern) can someone get me to the airport? " All in all they would describe their human as pretty much what they were looking for even if a bit erratic and not always tolerant of conurization of pagers, cellphones, lab coats and tooth brushes. They might want guidance on how to handle their pet's hot flashes and worry about her weight and tendency to go into cleaning frenzies one week when she hardly seems to care about more than a daily bedding change the next week. They would ask about appropriate quarantine intervals post two weeks exposure to refugees (short ) and 22 hours of meetings with stubborn politically posturing diplomats (long and perhaps requiring a stiff drink or two). In the end they would likely indicate that they are pretty satisfied with their human flock and the rest of the household's inhabitants.

Sounds to me, like the average day in the life, EXCEPT the airport and leaving town often thing. LOL... But you ALWAYS come back and they sure know that!!

Congo African Grey: Russell Peters (R.I.P. my baby)
This is a cute thread!

Russell would probably ask for advice on how to get rid of the fool (Hubby) who hangs around his mate (ME!)

Russell: ok so does anyone know how to get rid of a human you're not fond of? Seriously guys, I'm starting to think hints are NOT working, I mean how many times do I have to bite this guy for him to get the picture that he's not wanted, at least be me. He keeps hanging around me mate, well she keeps calling herself Mommy but we all know she's with me! Anyways this dude just doesn't get it, I'm running out of places to bit him and chasing him doesn''t work either. Whadda bafoon!!!!!!!

I swear that's what's in Russell's mind, he's hates my Hubby especially when he's around me!

Dusty would totally say the same about my father ^^ He constantly bites and attacks my father and yet my father keeps putting his fingers near his cage...

He would also say:

"She's my human! Stay away"

"Mommy Where art thou?"- a topic on how i leave him with my parents while i am away at school...

"The dog, body guard extraordinaire." - a topic on how to train the German Shepherd to clean up your food messages and keep the cats away from the cage. Dusty throws food his food to Angel and in return Angel lays by the cage and chases my one cat when he gets too close.

"You're not my Daddy!"

"Why does a guy with no birds have so many bird toys?"
