So just confirmed my suspisions yesterday that I am
indeed pregnant with our third human child

Pheonix has Been a little clingy the last few weeks and extra gentle with me
I think he knows something Is different about me

Anyways I'm wondering what other people experiances with being preg were with their bird

I know each birds an individual but If I have a wide spectrum of possible behaviours I will feel more prepared to deal with them

That is exciting... although the morning sickness part gets old fast.

My old Sam who dies last spring went through my pregnancies some 16 and 17 years ago and she didn't seem to notice anything amiss. I was stuck on bedrest for the last few months with Kat and Sam thought that great so that she got lots of one on one time. Come to think of it... Sam played a role on keeping me sane there. Only thing to consider is making sure you are getting lots of rest (ha) and a balanced diet yourself (ha ha). Folic acid is important of course and your doc will probably talk to you re prenatal vits. So, no special issues that I know of... but be fair to you... there are going to be times that you just need to crash!

Thanks all
I have 2 boys already 7yrs old and 19 months old so I would LOVE a girl this time

Apparently morning sickness is more common with girls as is achne and I have both
combine that with the phycics readings about being preg with a girl within next 6 months I'm definatly crossing my fingers

I'm already in ultra mum mod cleaning tidying fussing it's horrible
I'm the worst when it comes to the nesting instinct
I would change a room around during middle of night I would do gardening at 3am all sorts of things to drive my partner and son nuts lol
o my poor fids I hope they like cage rearrangments every day lol

Gem and Merry aren't bad and Sam could be short for Samantha. Teechka, is problematic...means "birdie" in Russian!

Congratulations!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

You're a sucker for punishment - what a house full! :D

I hope everything goes well and we'll cross our fingers for a bouncy baby girl!

Georigie, a very maniacal ball of fluff.
Babii (baby), The cuddle sponge
Congrats!! Georgie didn't act different with me, and I've been preggers since we adopted Babii so it's the norm for her. This being our first, I've not much idea what to expect other than setting up a place in the nursery corner so Babii can feel involved and doesn't get jealous or neglected since she's 100 fold more clingy/needy than Georgie lol. It's the best part for you right now, all the exciting beginning picking names and furniture back when clothes still fit!!! Enjoy it!! I have about 5 weeks to go and LOL I feel as if I'm a beached whale! We had the first name picked out since we found out, Sky and added Rose (middle), but I've always liked Emma/Emily too. = P
Congrats again a hundred times!! = )

I've always loved Lily Irene. If I had a girl that was going to be her name. Also for a boy I loved Aiden James. All my boys got family names, Alex, Tim, Charlie. LOL. But oh well, names are so much fun. Good lucka dn I hope it's a happy healthy pregnancy. Was so sick with all mine I was on bedrest.

Congrats on the baby . Hopefully the baby would grow up to be a bird lover like all of us. :)
