Hello Everyone,
Wow, its has been a long time since I posted on here. Life kind of did things, it was quite busy!

So anyway, I guess here is as good a place, as any, to put an update (Please move it if its in the wrong place! I'll update actual birds in their respected places :) ).

So... I guess I'll start with my study courses? I completed both my Certificate 2 & 3 in Animal Studies (with qualifications), and last year got into the Veterinary Nursing course I've been working towards. Though its only supposed to be a 2yr course, mine will be 3yrs (taking a year off for some other issues this year - so extra units - which I don't mind).

Throughout 2016 - May 2017 I'd been trying to get a bunch of different Dr's to help me with a severely painful back issue; that every Dr kept dismissing as regular back pain. In May 2017 I finally found a Dr, and she ordered some scans - which found I had 3 disks in my back bulging out and slowly crushing the nerves that go down to the left leg - causing massive amounts of pain in the lower back and left leg. It was a toss up between whether physio would help, or if I'd need sugery to fix it (thankfully no surgery - just twice weekly physio sessions for 4 months). I'm all better now, though, and life is pretty much back to normal.

During that time though, I had to rehome my 28 Parrots, as I was unable to clean their aviary properly (to my standard, anyway) and catch them for vet check up's, ect. I had a pair of Quail, the Black Caps in their 1m aviary-cage, and Jasper (IRN):blue2: .

I do now have 2 pairs of Conures in a double sided (wire divider) divided 4m aviary (2m each). The Black Caps are on one side, and a pair of Crimson Bellied Conures are on the other. The Crimson Bellied only came home yesterday though (my Birthday Present :D ).

But that is my update... for now anyway. But hopefully I'll be able to post a bit more regularily, now that life isn't as hectic.

Sorry for the long-ish post...

Sorry things have been a bit rough for you, I've been dealing with similar back issues myself and it can be absolutely crippling. It took me years to finally have someone believe me and get the right tests done. You really take for granted being able to just put pants on every day!
