Also thank you for your notes & the picture of Lebanon Levi ... hahaha

Levi got to them first and was chewing on them. He flew over to me and the box & the papers fell on the floor. He flew down & was helping himself to a nice hardy chew fest. Once he allowed me to see what it was, I laughed out loud when I saw Lebanon Levi ....hahaha Nice touch.

I am thrilled that you are happy, Tami, and Levi!
I didn't even notice that I made Levi's tomes warm! I'm very unanalytical, I guess... I just feel and paint. Thanks, everybody, for the kind words.
I really do just FEEL the birds, and by the time I'm done, I love every one dearly. I like to get the eyes done early on; then I have company while I finish. I make sure they look alive, and follow you.
Lots of times people dream up poses or actions or expressions, and they may want toys or stuff added. But Tami, who is a gifted Nature photographer (oh, you should SEE her work!) just passed me the money shot. I didn't realize how much I altered it until I look at the two together just now. Yipes! I'm glad you like it.
It made me very happy to do this for and with you.
Honestly, Levi is looking at us like "Okay, not bad, not bad". I think he approves. Whewww!

I've been wanting one of you paintings ever since I found out about your talent. I just couldn't decide on the image. I love this one b/c of the outdoor explorer feel and with all the colors and textures that accompany that. As opposed to an indoor portrait with a simple or plain backdrop.
