What do you mean by "weeded out"? Die?

Actually quite backwards. Never stated low, or high level skill set, or what skill set? I stated no skills, which pretty much means have to rely on the hard work others to make a income and for the most part are greedy and selfish. Not the people contributing. Yes the people stocking groceries, delivery drivers to janitors, to doctors, nurses, farmers, scientists, engineers, techs and etc are most definitely essential workers and all have a skill set of their own in one form, or another, even if it is a low, or high level skill set, one way or another they are contributing. I hear so many stories like this, I've read so many whistle blower doctors and nurses say the cases and deaths are being under reported from their hospitalized, some say maybe reported will catch up, but some say multiple deaths occured month ago still shows no cases in their county. Also many stressed they have people in 20s and 30s on ventilation.
New guidance has them not testing the deaths, to confirm they have the virus, not testing hospitalized cases in hard hit areas because won't change what they do. They wonder how this can happen when that Info is vital to making decisions, to tracking severity of outbreaks.
Facts and truth and facing it head on will do the most good in my opinion.

Let's make state numbers easily available and talked about on the news. Much if the population does not have easy access to the internet, our older population many have a hard time with technology. That information or lack of information effects the choices they make....

Re: COVID-19 Virus

Some may think that there is a great divide between Laurasea and myself. I assure you that is far from the truth. At most we are a few degrees from each other in our beliefs. In fact, she is a secret mentor of mine as we all learned of this Monstrous Virus, where it came from, how it expanded, the trail of death and its jump to other Countries. The shared heartache of the ever mounting deaths. She has lead the way.

Doom and Gloom has never defined Laurasea, if anything, it is her deep and devoted love for those around her, including her fellow Bird Lovers, those are her true hallmarks.

The genetic tracers of this Virus, as Lauasea found and reported, is in the SAR's family. A family of deadly Viruses that have fear provoking histories with their destructive effect on the Human body and methods of transmittal. A Virus that until recently, has been extremely difficult to define, anticipate, and confront. A Virus that has forted Human effort in the past and historically take years to be where we are today. Our abilities today far out measure those of years past, but even with the tools we have today, this family of
Virus has a way of confounding our best efforts. It Is Why, No One Is Willing To Define, With Clarity, What The Future May Bring.

I'm a hopeless optimist and a fond believer in the power of numbers; For me, as the numbers continue to build, I see a variation of a few degrees and as a result I am willing to forge a slightly different future.

I cannot stress enough that my 'belief' is founded on the developing belief that this Monster is Seasonally Effected: That a fair percentage of SAR's family Viruses have moved to cooler climates when its current high activity area becomes warmer. It is just as important to remember that the other part of the family just kept killing!!!

NOTE: Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. I cannot find any current public writings or interviews from her since February. Nor can I find any indications that she is not still heading that group and likely activity working to lead that group and its activities. In todays environment and the great interest in shunting any success of the current administration. I do not see that if she wanted to make any statement that she would be restrained from doing so...

WARNING: There is a HUGE amount of Fake News in the National News Media regarding this subject. The number of incorrectly and out and out lies regarding what is happening is heartbreaking! That said, just yesterday we saw pictures of medical staff wearing trash bags. Total out and out lie...

We need to be very careful of our source today as ever since the National News Media has found this topic, the number of Fake and out and out Lies has increased at confounding levels. What one sees and hears at the daily briefings are not what one reads or hears from the National Media.

Why would any group hide the number of deaths? After all, the extent of or growth of a Hot Spot would be counter to the goals of a State. Getting more support!!! i.e. MONEY.

In addition, modeling is founded on far more than what is happening in a single location! Dirty numbers are a common problem and it is why those numbers are compared to like occurs else wear. Yesterday's briefing called out the worst cast numbers originally used to project the effect and spread of this Virus and what is happening around this World has caused the walking away from those models too much smaller numbers.

It is very important NOT to have the national news media as all but a small part of your sourcing. Look for original sources, i.e. reading and listening to the individual providing the information and not a commentator that is adding their opinion.

Re: COVID-19 Virus

Sailboat,
I have some freinds in the hospitals, I'm hearing much the same from them.

Note, the new guidance on testing was announced on news breif. Stated as a way to save personal protective gear in new York. Was clearly stated in COVID 19 update with President by the woman doc with scarf, said if it won't change how you are already treating them, not to test. I watched this myself , so it is not fake news.
So when hospitalized staff from New York who has gotten this guidance says they are not testing people who have died , who they think had the virus,in order to save protective equity and supplies, I lean towards believe I them.

And thank you for your championing, it's perfectly fine to have different options, while sharing the same wider perspective. That's what makes America great! Freedom of speech!

Yes Dr. Meesioner is still working on our behalf. But she received quite a bit of political backlash , for her heroic early warning. Went from standing next to our president, to not being seen publicly.
CDC is paid for by us, is inpla e for this kind of health pandemics. I want to hear from the directly, in public news breif. They have a long history of helping the world, they exist for this purpose. I know their work continue behind the scenes, but I want to hear from them, from their experience, and experts.

Re: COVID-19 Virus

I also have family that is front line! I spent yesterday with my daughter. She is in the isolation ward! She is given one mask a day and must wash it between rooms! She was wearing a face shield, but they are used! She is now wearing goggles! They are still 14 days waiting on many tests and the majority are not being tested! Those who test positive, or probable positive, but are mild, are sent home! Tampa General, where my son-in-law works, now has several infected staff!

Re: COVID-19 Virus

Also Good Morning America anchor said wife is ER doc, has many freind around county who are ER doc, and he said on show that all are claiming under reporting.

Plus Jacksonville a city of 2 million and serves the greater area had the only drive thru testing site that will test people under 65 with fever and symptoms. They put a daily cap of 250 tests! There are huge lines everyday trying to get tested who have a fever ( they check right there) who are not getting tested. Clearly tho we work to catch up on testing we are not meeting the sick people that need tests. Or on the other side , is it to squash numbers hmmm....

Florida not releasing elderly care numbers sighting privacy laws! Nassau county says six cases, yet this isn't the true numbers . Duval county has so reported a problem with this....
Doug Adkins, owner of two assisted-living facilities in Nassau County, told The News Service of Florida that the number of long-term care providers with COVID-19 positive residents now is closer to 35. And he predicted the number will go even higher if the state doesn’t require testing of all long-term care residents and staff members.

Re: COVID-19 Virus

Florida taking great steps! All the
Vacation rentals closed! If you are in a rental you have to leave by end of the week. More arrivals from hit spots will have to check in with health department, and self quarantine for 2 weeks. Interstate travelers also have to comply.

Working on testing increase.

Our numbers are going up, like many other places.
Drive thru testing started a week ago, those results to be reslesded soon, told us to prepare for a big increase in cases.....

4 neighbors have cough and fever, I also have fever again...;( I last left the house a week ago, but , but did breifly visit neighbor who is now sick as they shared wifi with me... Fingers crossed for all if us, a d all if you as well....
Stressful times to have a fever
