Remember Secretariat?

https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...6FORM%3DVDMHRS

You may have seen this racehorse in the final race of the Triple Crown, if not it's worth watching. I remember seeing his owner in a documentary saying that near the second turn it was almost as if Secretariat was saying "Ok, now I'm going to show you what I can do". One of the greatest horses ever.

Re: Remember Secretariat?

I remember the race and that it was a sizable victory, but I had forgot just how large that victory was! Thanks for the memory!!!

Greatness in full display!

Re: Remember Secretariat?

Secretariat won by 31 lengths in the final race of the Triple Crown. He won all three races of it.

Ah, our Aussie horses were something to be amazed by
The greatest of ours were Phar lap, Black caviar, and the recently retired Winx

Re: Remember Secretariat?

He was amazing! I got to work with several of brood mares of his lineage, during an internship decades ago. The horses and us interns got to live the high life. My only glimpse into the billionaire life style!!

I sure miss being around horses, and foals.
