Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
I am not a books-on-tape gal...In fact, I mock them mercilessly, but, I am not going to lie...It is hard to do things and read at the same time. Audible (as much as I hate many readers' voices) is offering free listening to all. I am almost done with Anne of Green Gables---having read it as a kid...I did grow accustomed to the reader's voice and look forward to hearing more (once I adjust...again)...

Think of the possibilities though!!! It is so nice to work on things while listening.

I have been a big audiobook listener.
Because of my long commute It let me do something between here and there.

I find listening to a NEW book much more difficult than listening to a book you have already read.
If you read something you don't quite get you go back a sentence or two for better understanding. That's much harder with an audiobook.

Thanks for the tip about Audible.
