Melanie sang this song fifty years ago. I think it has just as much meaning,if not more, today.

Aaah, yes my old friend a mire fifty years ago!

Back when we talked about the Age of Aquarius, Love, Pease and the simply joy of living... Yes, the joy of youth and a future that was seemly open to Loving Our Fellow Humans...

But, sadly, the Drugs and Hate are much stronger today. Interest in Loving one another seems to have been lost in the back streets of major cities as Hating each other has replaced seemly any interest in Loving one another.

The sad truth is that although 'We The People' are much closer to each other and truly need each others. There is a growing effort to convince us that we are vastly different and should hate each other.

Love your reference as it so reminded me of where we have been and sadly where we have come to...

Let us agree to stop the use of the word hate! Maybe than, there will be hope to returning to a much better place...
