I had a pair of Princess Parrots (they now live with my mother). Despite being avairy birds, they come inside all the time and climb all over us. As well as explore and fly around everywhere inside.
My mom has one. Patches is a handfed 10 year old boy. Even being handfed/hand raised, he has a definite limit to his tameness as is typical of the grass parakeets. He will step up for my mom, will come to me when I visit to talk to me, but definitely no touching.
Patches talks pretty well, which surprised me, since POW are usually an "aviary bird" species. He is really active and loves playing with toys and running around on the floor. Since grass parakeets including POW are made for being ground birds, unlike most parrots they can run very fast! His feet are a blur when he's running on the ground lol.
