Hello parrot owners, i got my rosella for like 5 years, he is 6 yo. And after 5 years he still bites me, when i got him, a think that he gone stop that after time, but nothing helped. When i give him a finger in his cage, he istantly attack me with full power, not only for playing.

Thanks for reading, can you give some advice? i would like to put him out of the cage, just to chill but i cant. :(

You need to re-set your relationship with this parrot. Like start from scratch.
It will help the forum if you thoroughly describe how the typical day goes for your parrot.
WHat time is woken up? GOes to bed? WHo interfaces with him. Who changes papers and food and water? Is he flighted? How often is he out of his cage? Describe the toys he has inside his cage. Have you every gotten him out of the cage and taken him into another room? He could be exhibiting cage territoriality ( this is my area and none shall enter it )

The more info you give us, the better we can recommend some things to try. Where are you located?

Beautiful looking parrot!

Fly free Plum, my gorgeous boy.
Reading up on these birds it seems that they are mainly kept as aviary birds. There is much about breeding them, little about ER as indoor birds. They are not described as your usual 'go on give me loads of head skritches' type of parrot. It will be more important than ever to improve his cage/enrich his life by providing toys for his cage.

You can work through this to see if you can improve on your relationship.

It is important that some progress is made so that he can have some freedom to fly around.

He is pretty cute btw.

Rio (Yellow sided conure) sadly no longer with us
Plum is right that they are often kept as aviary birds. they're less removed from the wild than our other parroty friends and even less handled by humans. Not to say it's impossible but it's gonna take a full reset of your relationship, treating him like a new bird and working on getting him to associate you with only good things (food's a pretty easy thing to be associated with)

Just be aware they do bite, even the friendly ones. you'll get so used to the concept you'll be like me whenever seeing a "bird biting me" post title and think to yourself "yeah sounds like a parrot to me"
