I get this question a lot.... "what do you feed all your birds?"
I understand that everyone has thei opinions and what works for their bird(s).
So this is just a list of what and how I feed....

First, I have a garden I plant specifically for birds every year.... I plant peppers, zuccinni, butternut, yellow, and bent neck squash, along with pumpkin, cantaloupe, watermellon, corn, beans, peas, cauloflower, and cucumbers.

I sprout beans year round, I cook some of them as well. Our property also boasts the following plants and treas.... almond, walnut, pecan, 6 apple trees, a bing cherry tree, peaches, 2 types of grapes, and pears. We also grow blueberries, strawberries, mullberries, black rasberries, and red rasberries. I do a lot of fruit and veggie freezing and deydration of my own, along with tons of canning for people food, jams, veggies, and meat.

We have four mini pomegranite trees in the house, along with a mini banana tree. Macaws love banana, and everyone likes pomegranite :)

Our birds automatically get fresh variations of things that are in season....

What is key is the base of our food...

Squash, apple, chick peas, lentils, pinto beans, carrot, sweet potato, green beans, peas, corn, pasta, rice, and whatever happens to be in season at that point. I also include some seed (depending on species), and everyone gets pellet.... Some birds get a little sunflower once a week (like macaws), everone gets almonds daily, we also add small amounts of chees, tofu, and yogurt for additional treats (again depends on the bird).

Eclectus get lots of fruit and pellet
Macaws get lots of nuts, and some seed, and lots of veggies,
Cockatoos get lots of veggies, tofu, and cheese
Quakers get a couple peanuts, lots of veggies, and some seed, and tons of pellet
Pionus get everything including avaian essentials (because they get no pellet)
Everyone gets either flaxseed oil, or fish oil mixed into their food.
Everyone except the eclectus get spirulina.
Amazons get absolutely no seed or nuts.
Greys get everything

Now keep in mind these guys are all breeder birds.
