just gave everyone a bowl of warm porridge with a little honey for a treat... you could literally hear a pin drop in the bird room! all of them have their heads in the bowl....even the fussy ones! :jumping40

You mentioned only a bit of honey, please be very cautious.

I am aware of birds that eat honey in the wild, but that is not the processed honey that you would feed a domestic bird, or that a human would eat.
Feed only occasionally as a special treat and not part of their daily diet.
Most parrots, do not eat diets high in sugar in the wild. A high sugar diet can lead to obesity in a caged bird which can lead to fatty liver disease and heart problems.
