I bought some rolled oats at a store like Whole Foods. And I'm in the mood to start some cooking, lord knows I don't cook for myself. But for my feathered friends. I was going to mix in some other goodies I bought, but I have NO idea how to cook these? I know they go in a pot of boiling water, but I have no idea on the oats/water ratio. Or how long to cook them.
Anyone tried this before? I've read it's kind of like oatmeal when it's cooked, minus all the sugar and additives.
