Anyone ever use "tropical carnival" parrot food?

The pet store was out of the regular seed mix I buy last night. After looking over what was available, I settled on a brand called "tropical carnival". It seemed to have the least amount of peanuts and those huge mystery "chunks" in it (which he just flings). It also looked to have more probiotics in it than the other brands. Just wondering if anyone else uses this grand and if your birds waste a lot of it? Kiwi isn't too picky, so I'm sure he'll eat some of it, but I hate when I have to buy him "alternative" mixes and a bunch goes to waste because it has stuff birds won't actually eat in it.

I was also kind of excited because they had a dried fruit mix by the same brand (I never really take time to browse around the parrot food isle). Kiwi really likes dried fruit, but I can't give him much of the stuff from the grocery store since it has added sugar. I think he will really enjoy having it during the day (I don't leave fresh fruit/veg in his cage after he's finished eating it because I don't want it to spoil before he starts eating it again). And before anyone "brings it up", Kiwi only gets seed mix during the day when we aren't home so he has something non-perishable to eat on if he gets hungry. He gets fresh fruit/veg in the morning, and a cooked grains/beans mix at night, as well as healthy table foods from our breakfast and dinner. Seed is actually a pretty minimal part of his overall diet, and I have no problems letting him nibble on it during the day:green:

i Dont really like the mix to much as it has quite a few peanuts in it and a lot of fillers my guys didnt ever eat. I picked the peanuts out but other then that they ate the seeds and other nuts and the fruit. I use a mix by higgins called sunburt macaw and it has dried fruit and nuts and seeds and very minimal peanuts that i have to throw out. Its ok as a seed treat but there are better options out there i believe!

This isn't the regular brand I buy, but I was running pretty low and had to get something. Maybe I just got a bag without a ton of peanuts, because there really aren't as many in there as the other brands I was looking at (I don't have to pick the peanuts out, kiwi hates them and flings them out himself lol). I just liked it had visible chunks of dried fruit. I saw other labels list "fruit", but I didn't actually see anything that resembled fruit in them. Does your brand make a mix for zon-sized parrots? Some of those macaw mixes had bits in them bigger than Kiwis beak lol.

you must have got a good bag because every bag i have gotten has been loaded! The mix i use is listed as macaw but the only thing in it that is not friendly to other species would be the walnuts, pecans, almonds, hazelnuts in shell, but you can crack them to. I feed that sunburst macaw to anything from my greenwing to my indian ringnecks and they all love it onto of there pellets and fresh foods of course.. So i think youd be fine with it as long as you crack the inshell nuts, plus the dried fruit is pretty big but my guys seem to like the bigger chunks of dried fruit compared to smaller. It has papaya, coconut shreds, mango, apple rings and more!
