Red Bellied Parrot & Congo African Grey
Hi all,

Just wanted to a share a couple pics that I snapped over the weekend of my babies having breakfast together!

I added a couple snazzy instagram filters.

Cuties! (If I do say so myself ... :))

Beautiful birdies!!! The more I see of Red Bellied Parrots, the more I think I'd like to have one. They're really lovely, aren't they? And of course, everyone wants an African Grey! My daughter wants one so she can teach it to say 'Keep the bloody cracker!' :D

Love! African species are my favorite! You can tell that grey is a baby by those sweet eyes.

Red Bellied Parrots are awesome! I saw her in a pet store and it was true love so I had to have her. She was there for two years until I came along! How sad. Reason being, she is more of an aggressive bird who is nippy and I guess that put people off. But she's always been sweet to me and is very cuddly and loves her skritches. She will tolerate others but definitely prefers me. I would recommend them as pets, but I feel like that is in their nature to bond really closely with one person as opposed to being a more social bird. At least that is what I get from my bird, though I'm sure that other people might disagree. But she is a riot and is very playful and fun.

LOL! Well that would definitely be an interesting phrase. I'm sure my African Grey will pick up a few choice words around me ....
