Can parrots eat spiky melons

Got a spiky melon. Can the parrots have some? Anything to avoid feeding them ? (Ie skin)

Edit: it's called a horned melon, sorry

Yeah sorry should've updated it.

Birds didn't like it. I'll probably try to strain out the seeds since they should like it.
