So this year ,i have been trying to get them on another pellet then the zupreem fruit-blend.
They liked harrison,s for a while and then not,i tried the dutch organic pellet, they didn't even touch it,i tried totally organic, which only worked for a few weeks, then the natural zupreem, nope.I give up ,i have about 100 euros worth off pellets in my freezer right now, guess i got some seriously baking to do...
My mother uses the fruitblend too so i stole some,i swear they were growling at me when i came too close to their bowl,i believe they missed it.can say i didn't miss the colored water.

well, i know how that feels. my tiels wont touch anything but the zupreem fruitblend. wont really eat others. they used to be on hagen tropican but nope decided they didnt like them after a year! refused them like crazy, but gave them fruit and natural zupreem and of course they chose fruity. and the lovies wont touch fruity but love the natural... thats parrots for you lol

someone i knew very very smart, she always said the best pellet for your bird is the one they will actually eat. i stand by her statement. i wouldnt feel guilty if that is all they want to eat.

i still have harrisons in my freezer that my guys didnt care for. i save it for mushing into handfeeding formula when i need it (usually when munch lays every now and again.)

If its just the colored water you don't like about you can seperate the food and water dishes. What I normally do is have one on one side of the cage and the other on the otherside and usually on the opposite wall. So for example if the food is on the back left of the cage the water is on the front right side. I don't like them putting the pellets in the water either but this also ensures they have to use the entire cage. If it makes you feel better though there are worse brands than Zupreem to feed them

I would say keep rotating, birds like people get tired if the same thing... My conure rotates between Caitec oven bites, Higgins natural, and Harrison's spicy. Keep them in the freezer, and try offering one or the other pellets about every week or so. Sometimes they can go for months without eating one kind, then all of the sudden they like it again.

Just keep trying to feed them the pellets. I'm sure eventually they'll eat it. x3 Maybe you can try a different pellet? There are some other pellets that are higher in quality. Eventually they will start eating pellets.
Kiko didn't eat anything other than seeds and crackers for 8 years before I adopted him, and now he eats Zupreem, broccoli, birdie bread, and MySafeBirdStore Bountiful Harvest blend, and cooked carrots.

Baking bird bread is always a good way to use up the extra food, plus it helps you stay up on your baking techniques.....

I found that moving water dishes/bowls to a higher level and a different side of the cage tended to keep their water cleaner longer.....

Good luck.....

We don't have those brands here, there aren't that many here that sell pellets for smaller bird, they are increasing but slowly,in the beginning there was only zupreem and Harrisons ,i was only able to buy totally organic last month
i will be rotating with what i have right now and if that doesn't work then i will just use the fruit blend and a bag of totally organic to use in bread making.
I do have their water bowl on the other side of they cage, they don't care, with the harrisons they made the point to trow it all in the water and give me the look that said ,giving up yet??;)
