Here are a couple of simple mixes that will be healthy and your Fids will love them. It is the only way i get my Tiels to eat a bit of fruit.
I have not seen any other food offered to so many Fids, that has been almost 100% excepted after only a couple of offers of these treats.
I also use these almost daily as part of my own Tiels diet.

Oknuma's Reciepe Which I started with.
I popped some mixed nuts, mixed dried fruit, some plain muesli, oats and dried coconut into the blender and chopped the heck out of it. I then popped in some bird seed mix as well ( less than an 1/8 of the rest of the mixture) and chopped again.

Now here comes the messy part. I popped in a bit of molasses just enough to make it sticky. I wet my hands and then rolled into little nutriberri sized balls.

I baked them on some grease proof paper ( lowest possible heat and fan bake. ) Just like I do with the seed bell treats I make.

I figure he can have one or two a day and the rest can freeze

anyway some pics..
after baking them on the really low fan heat for about 30 mins they are firm enough to roll over. ( some of them went flat, maybe too much molasses in those balls? )

Peanuts
Coconut
Sunflower seed
Soaked ingriedents

Chop fine

Dates

Place all this Into a bowl
Add
Mixed Birdseed
Mix in 2x beaten Eggs including shell from four eggs. Which were dried then finely crushed.

Spooned into moulds and cooked at 120 for 2hours
The extra egg shells were to help boost Roxy's low calcium issue.
The other thing about this is you can add minerals and vitamins if you like.
Not that I think you will need to.

Thanks for sharing that Clawnz. I might just have to try that at some stage. I also have awful trouble getting my tiel to eat fruit. Veggies are ok, but not fruit.
