Quaker parakeet diet help?

I have done some research on quaker parakeet diets, and different sources have said different things. So if anything is wrong with this diet, please let me know.

I plan on giving unlimited pellets. Probably roudybush as the biggest portion, is the California blend alright? And Zupreem fruity pellets as a mix in. With an ice cube sized portion of veggies in the morning. I'm not sure how much fruit to feed though. And some millet and pepper spray as an occasional treat.

I would like to feed the Purina large parrot diet, on rare occasions. Is it alright for quakers to have large parrot seed mix/ pellets, or will they choke on that?

I would also appreciate any other diet advice, thanks!

There is no reason you can't feed a large size pellet if you wish to. Some birds even prefer a larger pellet.

I'm curious why you want to mix in the Zupreem fruit blend with the Roudybush, though? Personally, I would not. If you mix the two together, it is definitely possible that your bird will just pick out and eat only the colored pellets and ignore the Roudybush. Or, alternately, eat only the Roudybush and ignore the Zupreem. Honestly, either one is fine. I mean, do what you want but personally I'd just pick a pellet and feed that one.

Ice cube sized portion of veggies for breakfast sounds pretty good. For fruit.. ah.. it's so easy to go overboard with it, because it is so nice and fresh! And they love it! And it's so colorful! I wish I could feed mine nothing but fruit. I'm so terrible x.x

I guess my.. sun conure is about the closest in size to a quaker I have to compare. Today he got a half a grape, a blueberry, a pomegranate seed and however much of a mandarin orange slice he decided to eat (which probably wasn't much, he usually gets mad when I put those in his bowl). He also got some diced pepper, butternut squash, kale, sprouts, cilantro, rosemary, oregano and broccoli at the same time, but I'm sure the piggy ate all the fruit first.
