Is too much corn bad?

My lovebird, Lucky just loves corn. We buy frozen organic sweet corn from Costco, and we just thaw it out with hot water.

I am concerned that Lucky loves corn so much, she may not be eating other foods that she may need.

I would worry. Variety is the key to nutrition. Can you make it into a mash with other healthy veggies and grains? That might be tempting.

Corn isn't bad in moderation, but as you said if she's given a choice and only chooses corn, she won't be getting the nutrients she needs from other foods. I would cut down on the corn and offer her a balanced variety. Why not browse through our diet section and look for some new options for your lovie.
