Still on that mission, but looking for my mushy! <3
Korean Daikon Radish is almost the basis for all Korean food. It's in EVERYTHING. It soaks up seasoning well and you can cook it any which way. The Jeju Island radish strain is super sweet when raw. (Any other strain isn't as sweet. It's still delcious!!) It's almost consider a dessert. Is it okay for parrots to eat? I eat it raw all the time. You don't have to eat the white part raw, as that's what's going to be cut up or served into the dish. It's not as sweet as the green part, either. Only the green part of most Korean Daikon radish is suitable for human consumption as it's SO sweet. And what about the tops? They don't sell adult radishes with tops, but there are baby radishes with tops.

It'd be a rare treat since I only buy the best ones when I'm making side dishes!
