So i bought some fruit and veg today and made a nice big bowl of it. Ingredients were:

Cauliflower
Celery
Cucumber
Radish
Pomegranate
Nectarine
Pear
Apple
Blueberry
Mango
(i feel like i'm forgetting 1 more veg but it's not coming to me, cus I know i bought 1 veg to 1 fruit ratios, but the blueberries were a splurge)

and I bought some wheatgrass as well that I put in Jardy's cage.

Not as grand as your guys' mixtures, but I'm far too paranoid to cook beans, and I didn't have a lot of time today to even think of cooking up anything. She nibbled at a bit today, but I'm not surprised she didn't take to it like gold. She LOVES cauliflower though, won't touch broccoli. I'm sure it'll take her a few days before she braves up enough to try it all. Took me an hour to chop it all up and about 20 minutes to bag it. Here's a pic of the bowl, it made me feel healthy just looking at it ROFL

If you're worried about beans, then maybe try lentils?

Lentils are a good choice! Otherwise your chop looks great! If the fid won't eat it, well, guess you know what's for dinner! Beans are dead easy! Grab a bag of 15 bean soup mix and start with that. Leave out the seasonings! Biggest risk with beans is to under cook them.

Yeah looks so much better in that bowl then it does when it thaws HAHA all mushy and dull in color. Is that normal for all you folks that do chop? After you freeze it and then thaw it turns into complete mush? Then again in the end, Jardy just mushes it up anyways, but that crunch would have been nice, but I would have had half of every ingredient go bad before she could have eaten it all P: (since I don't eat those veggies, the fruit yeah)

Might actually just do that next time, buy 1 of each ingredient like before but just use half of each one, and then eat the rest myself (the fruit anyways LOL) cus that way, no freezing and mushy blobs of goo

Many of the items you chose have a high water content which will make it more mushy when thawed. For example I give cucumber but never in the base chop only fresh because it just becomes mush, celery as well only gets offered fresh.

It takes time to figure out what works best. If you are afraid of cooking beans why not buy a can or two of already cooked beans such as garbanzo and black beans or lentils, drain the liquid from the can rinse them well and add them to your chop. I always include either brown rice or quinoa as well.

I made chop when I first got my severe...she didn't like it at all. At least the sugar gliders did lol. Today I'm making another recipe made with quinoa ..hope she likes this one if not I guess I'll just keep trying. She's somewhat scared of new foods..new things in general.
