Mine isn't time regulated either, I was more referring to wear and tear.Though I'd imagine those fans are designed to take quite a beating.

I haven't ever had an issue combining ingredients, though as previously mentioned high-sugar, high-pectin fruit and veg do not "mingle" well together in the dehydrator.

Just had my wedding shower and got one of these as a gift! I was sooo excited! Everyone was like "oh how nice you can make snacks" and I'm like "for my bird!"

Can;t wait to try it out.
