I'm looking to start selling Birdy bread locally, more as a hobby than anything, but I have realized a lot of my friends simply don't have the time to do this kind of thing. I am also selling Sprouts, but I have done that before.

I'm looking for any great recipes that your fids love, that I can share with my own fids, and those around me. I have never really done birdy bread before.

Thanks!

I like to add dried fruits that I've run through my burr grinder into little tiny bits, as well as doing the same things with nuts so it forms a powder. I also get powdered peanut butter (you can also get peanut flour which is essentially the same thing) but avoid PB2 which has added salt and sugar. You can also use apple sauce instead of oil! Even using some parakeet seed mix or just millet and other grains can be thrown in. I order all my nuts and grains, as well as freeze dried fruit and veggies online that are all human quality and unsulfered.

I have an awful habit of just throwing all kinds of things together for my birds, so I'm sure you can make a lot of combinations! I'm actually also in the process of writing a book about my fids, and plan to include some recipes myself. :)

I'm hoping to try that one in the next few days; I already have requests for it, but I have never tried any yet!
