so here in california there is an exotic bird franchise (or so i believe) called Omars exotics. Ive nevr really had a problem with them and this post is not meant to attack them or anything, but i recently noticed that in there seed blends they include cat kibble? I cant recall the percent but its not much and its in pretty much all hook bill blends.
is this really necessary? i feel like it would have way to much protein (animal protein to be exact) and can be a little harmful? If anything why not use a dog kibble since it has a better mix of veggies usually ( or at least a high quality one would).
to be safe i tend to try to pick them out, also when ever i give it to my birds they tend to skip it as well but my mini mac pretty much mills through anything so i feel like she can get too much even with the few i miss. it has peanuts in it already as well which, well we all know, isnt too healthy either..
any thoughts?

becuase on the bag it actually says it has cat kibble and if you look at the kibble its shaped like a little cat head.
my meyers and mini mac are both on a 50% pellet, 30%fruit and veggies and 20% seed (more or less)
my gcc on the other hand is all seed and fruit diet since hes very picky :// though i still do work with him on it.
