So I remembered I have some paleo pumpkin muffins in the freezer. I do not plan on giving any of the birds a whole muffin (they are MINE) but I was wondering if they would be okay with a bite or two. The ingredients are:
3/4 cup coconut flour
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
3/4 cup maple syrup
6 eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
The only thing different is I used honey instead of maple syrup, and I didn't use as much. I think I used less than 1/2 cup for the whole batch. I know honey is not great for them, but a little bit won't hurt, right? Like I said, they can't have a whole muffin (again, MINE) but I think they would like a taste. BTW, these muffins are amazing. Just saying.
