I think I read somewhere not to feed birds asparagus....or maybe that was dogs. Anyway, we're eating a lot of asparagus lately because it's always in the produce share we get from the organic farm coop. Is it okay to give her a taste?
. I slice it cross wise (so each piece is a little hockey puck shape). They empty out the soft inside and discard the outer ring. In fact, I think I'll get some again.
