Bonjour, votre anglais est bien.

Firstly for the benefit of others 'Elophus roseicapillus (Galah aka rose-breasted Cockatoo) Cockatoo de Rosalbin in french. (I had to check LOL)

I feed my RB2 Plum Totally Organics Crumbled Pellets for Small Hookbills, free choice, approx 6 Nutriberries per day and a dish of home made chop containing fresh veggies, pastas, chia seed, flax seed. It is important to feed correctly as they are prone to Fatty Liver Disease. For this reason he doesnt get any seed other than what is included in the Nutriberries.

Please let us see a photo and know more about your bird? :)

Would you help us to help you and fill out your profile and put in your parrots and where you are located in the world please? If in doubt have a look at mine ie Galah / Rose Breasted and England, UK on the right hand side.

other opinions ?

What? Do you want others to disagree with this - I am unclear, so explique svp. :)
What I have told you is what works for my bird who is fussy, fussy, fussy. I had a real deal getting him off seed and onto pellets and it's more pick and mix than proper food to him. So, Nutriberries were the first thing on the way to accepting pellets (Harrisons is great too!) Complete diet with some seeds on, win win!

PS Have you been able to view and read the attachments for the chop recipe and the info sheet of the birds?

will this help? http://www.parrotforums.com/parrot-...afe-fresh-foods-toxic-food-lists-sprouts.html

I used to feed Versele Laga but have dropped this completely.

Galahs love seed so will eat that before anything else. If I gave you a plate of Profiteroles and some potatoes and veggies everyday what would you choose first?

If your bird will eat some pellets everyday then no need for Nutriberries.

Plum only likes Banana so a little few times per week. You can add some home made apple sauce to veggies if you like?

Oh and you can feed egg - 20 minutes hard boiled, scrambled - no seasoning or milk added.

Gosh I am working hard here LOL !

Some everyday is OK. If you do this you will need to read up on how to do this properly so as to not cause your bird to be unwell. Mouldy sprouts are not good OK?
