Gloria, BFA, adopted on Jan. 9, 2016 when she was 30 years old
. Her mom went to a nursing home.
Also have 2 cats (Rangerand Luna) and a 24 year old aquatic turtle, named Elvis.
I make smoothies for myself which Gloria happens to love too. Typically they consist of frozen banana and mango, fresh strawberries, fresh spinach, spirulina and water. I like fresh ginger added. Okay for Gloria (BFA) too?

Fresh ginger is fine in moderation:) I use it and lemons to flavour their brown rice quite often and they love it as long as I don't add too much.

I agree, as long as you don't overdo it with the ginger, it's fine. Plus, if she has any parasites, the ginger will clear them right up. Parasites can't eat anything that's come in contact with ginger, so they end up starving and come out the other end of their host either dead or almost dead. I used to keep fish, and trust me, ginger is an excellent anti-parasitic.
