Excellent link, Plumsmum! I hadn't seen this one before, but there are some very good answers within.
Personally, I think there's just a whole lot that can go wrong. So I tend to avoid giving them the skin and such from the fruits.

Thank you very much very helpful. I did not peel my apple in my last mash, and I put in part of the mango skin cause there something in the skin can't remember what but its recommend to juice it for ourselves so I gave some to Timneh in her mash. Glad I've been buying mostly organic stuff for my baby. Anyone know if Japanese sweet potatoes are ok to give African Greys? Going to make a new batch of mashed for tomorrow. Timneh shared a lot of this last batch with her furry pals.
