free harrisons

my local vet gave me these harrisons in hope of finding some place they can go to good use. They are expired though, some expired in april and some expired last year. If anyone knows of a place that needs these, please let me know and I'll send them. They are in 5lb bags.

Ooh I use the green bag! It sure is expensive stuff. I cringe everytime I buy the 5 lb bag. I just wonder how far expired is too long (loss of nutrients).

I can contact Harrison's next week, or my vet and see if they can give me a confident answer on that.

My vet claims they are safe to eat. They are all sealed and it is a very dry climate here. Let me know what you come up with! I don't mind splitting them up if you want just a bag or so. I only ask that if you can, reimburse shipping costs, the bags themselves are free though. first come first serve!

If Raven doesnt want them all ill gladly pay shipping for a bag or 2 of the ones that expired in April.

I'll wait to see if you have the green bag in the closest exp. date

. I'm sure they're "safe", I just know that if they're too far expired there is not as much nutrition as fresh. Thanks for checking!

Well one orange bag has a hole from cutting the box open. I'll keep that one. What I have left is two orange bags that expired Aug 2016 and two green bags that expired in April 2017
