- Tsali - African Grey- I am a one parrot parent. It's a full time job keeping Tsali healthy and happy.
I guess we all have our own little quirks just like our fids. Mine is peanuts. I do NOT feed them due to the risk of the Aspergillus fungus. Just one danger I can eliminate by not feeding peanuts. I am a label reader and when I see peanuts, I say NO WAY.
WHY oh WHY is it so difficult to find quality food that does not contain peanuts? I feed TOPS and Higgins In Tune. I would like to find some more non-peanut pellets to provide more variety. In addition to his pellets, Tsali gets tons of fresh veges, fruits, gently dehydrated sprouts and grains along with a small portion of seeds and nuts.
If anyone can help out with brands of peanut free pellets, I would greatly appreciate it.
