Pick wild dandelions and feed them? if not is there a way to make them safe? or do i have to buy them from somewhere?

I mean I would be getting them from my yard / neighbors yard (with permission ofc) since I have never actually seen them in any store I'm just worried about whatever the outside has to bring to a dandelion

Headed home today, gonna ask if we can stop at one headed back from airport then. I'd like to give my boy a treat when I get home.

I do use the ones from our backyard...they are not exposed to any pesticides or car exhaust so I feel safe using them. We do wash them very well to be on the safe side.

Yeah I live in an area with lots of pine trees that regularly get sprays to avoid pine beetles so can imagine some would transfer to the dandelions too x.x I guess my best bet is looking at whole foods

Agreed, buying would be safer.

You can buy dandelion seeds. I suspect they’re easy to grow!

I am the killer of plants
I cannot keep anything other than a succulent and a plant that lives in water alive

Ok but I mean we *are* talking about weeds. They’re probably reasonably foolproof [emoji16]

Sounds great! I should get some for Bumble. If she likes them, maybe I’ll grow some. Hahahahaha #crazybirdlady

As long as you don’t spray or treat your yard it’s be safe, otherwise you could buy some or grow some in pots for him!
