Is it safe for birds? I don't drink it myself but I recently saw a post referring to giving their eclectus unsweetened almond milk and it makes me wonder if I could expand on recipes using nut milk as a substitute for cow milk.

All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
It is not real milk... just powdered nut in water...why not?

Since it has been processed to kingdom-come I would not expect much in the way of health benefits btw ( no matter what the hype says).
It will still have all the calories of nuts, so being used sparingly would be good.
