Eating too much?

Is there such a thing? We like to change up his pellets when he runs out just to keep it interesting -- started with Kaytee a year ago (from his breeder, but I'm not a fan of it, but we wanted to use up the huge bag), then Mc'Cohen's Tops, and then Zupreem.

But now we may have hit a pellet jackpot -- he loves the Oven Fresh Bites and Tropimix (mix of dried fruits and veggies, plus pellets) and really gobbles them up. I mix them up, but only give a few pieces of the Oven Fresh Bites. I've never seen him this obsessed with pellets LOL

But now, should I worry if he eats too much? I know to keep his pellet bowl filled so he can graze all day...but will it be too much?

He also gets fresh veggies, sprouts, and fruits in the morning and evening before bed and he also eats them. Last couple of vet visits said he is a perfect weight/size.

Mine love the oven fresh bites too. Birds eat a little more when it's colder , or molting. I don't limit pellets or veggies. Mine are flighted and active.
You could weigh your bird, track weights?

He's not flighted. He plays a lot though...both on his gym and with us.

I could weigh him. I have a kitchen scale (not digital) but I can get a digital scale. They weighed him when he went in for the blood feather breaking and he was at around 2lbs (don't know the exact number).

Well it's very good practice to track weights. This can be the first indication of a health issues in parrots. As we all know how much they hide being sick.
