So I have a pretty unique little gc who loved his pellets, some fruit, millet, fresh veggies, and freeze-dried fruit. I know I should be jumping for joy at this achievement, but before I do so, what are the implications for a conure who has no interest in seed. He is still very young, and it might be because he has no idea what to do with the seeds. But I wanted to know how hard should I be trying to get him to eat seeds? I was hoping to use the seeds as his training treats because as I experienced with my other conure which would do anything for a sunflower seed.

Great news! There are no implications, hes got a well rounded diet, seeds aren't necessary.

yeah seeds are potato chips for birds, better for northern birds, high in fat etc.

A parrot needs a leaner diet, pellets and fruit etc are better for them. The don't fly around miles a day in search of food.
