My birds all love Lafaberā€™s Nutri-Berries! I get the senior bird blend. Iā€™m not too crazy about the ingredients such as the corn syrup but I like that it has ginger and milk thistle. The birds really seemed to love it so I got the 3lb bag. They are not really thrilled about the nutri berries coming out of the big bag. Has anyone else run into this? Is the quality different maybe ?

Francis just doesn't care much for nutri-berries. His former "mommy", Peg, kept him while we were dealing with the movers in our recent move to NC. When I went to pick him up she gave me a big bag of them, but I've never been able to get him to eat them.

Yellow Shoulder Amazon, Salty
Salty likes all the flavors of Nutriberries. He gets one with his breakfast, and I will crush up one or two into his evening chop meal.

Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
My two also like them..I get the large "tub" (friggin pricey!) Amy will get three or four in his bowl at brekky time every other week. Seems to me he is more interested in just tearing them apart instead of munching on them. I'll break one or two up for BB and he'll chow down. At times I'll give one to Amy while he is on his play pen and BB will eat the dreg's as Amy tears them a part. They both also like Avicakes :)

Sunny the Sun Conure (sept '18, gotcha 3/'19). Mr Jefferson Budgie & Mrs Calliope Budgie (albino) (nov'18 & jan'19). Summer 2021 Baby Budgies: Riker (Green); Patchouli, Keye, & Tiny (blue greywings).
My Sunny eats the Tropical Nutriberries. She is equally happy with the 3lb bag or the 1lb bag.
I check over the bags at the store before buying, to check for Two Potential Problems:

(1) EXP date!!! --pet stores, I don't think they check exp dates as often as grocery stores. Recommend you check your bag, could be the problem??

and

(2) Nutriberries all-stuck-together. ? Maybe overheated in shipping ? If they stick together, they are not the nice round shape; for my Sunny, balancing to hold & eat the Round Nutriberry is a type of P.T. for her one non-working claw. Probably not your issue - but - Picky Birdies!; if the shape is wrong, it Might Not taste as good?

That must be it! I ordered it off of amazon and when I received the bag the nutri berries were packed in a solid rectangle! I called Lafeber up to see if anyone else experienced this. They said that the nutri berries were just too fresh for shipment and fused together. Your explanation makes more sense- especially because the birdies do not seem to like it.
