Three days ago my son called me at work very upset because Buzz had fallen in his cage. He fell off his swing, grabbed at a perch on his way down but didn't get a good grip and fell to the bottom of his cage. I had my son look him over and he had no visible injuries. My son just reported that his looked unsteady when he was back on his swing. Yesterday was complete cage cleaning day. When Buzz was back in he nearly fell off his swing again. Perches, toys and swing all got put back slightly different so we thought that could have been it but really at that point I was thinking we may need a vet visit. Tonight I went to give Buzz a treat and saw he was struggling to stand on the swing. Then I realized the perch was moving like a rolling log. I took it out and the screws on the ends had loosened up just enough for the perch to log roll when he stood on it. I am so thankful that he didn't end up injured because we missed loose screws. So if your bird has a swing like his, go check it!

Thank you for posting this!

Poor Buzz, I'm so glad he wasn't seriously injured before you caught the problem.
