Goofy (YNA), Oscar (Goffin 'too). Foster bird Betty (RLA). RIP Cookie, 1991-2016 ('tiel), Leo (Sengal), Charlotte (scarlet macaw). Grand-birds: Liam (budgie), Donovan (lovebird), RIP Angelo (budgie)
I'm not very creative at all, so I could use some help. I want to design a "sky playground" for Leo, Oscar and Goofy (Charlotte's balance is too bad to consider allowing her to go up very high). This is the space I have to work with:

I'm not likely to be allowed to put more hooks in the ceiling. I'm fairly handy so I could make simple ropes, ladders, etc.

Suggestions? Please? Thank you!

ETA: We don't use the fireplace anymore so that's not a concern.

I believe that in the Amazon Forum, the Thread that Wrench has for Salty, has several photo's of an extensive play area he designed for Salty.

It appears that you already have at least one hook in the ceiling and that single point should provide several lines down, which can provide lots to build on and around.

FYI: Remember to place a plastic disk between the hook and the ceiling to assure that the Parrots do not chew away at the popcorn ceiling!

There's two hooks. I was hoping to figure out a way to make the whole space between the two hooks a playground.

What Wrench did was to string that plastic chain between two hooks and then hung traditional style (likely hand made) hanging toys from it. you could also hang a ladder from it or like stuff. One of the Mods provide photos of their and it was huge. Check the DIY Forum for projects there. My inspirational side is not kicking in, so this is all that comes in mind. If something perks to the surface, I'll get back with you!

You can easily rig something to clamp onto that Stone wall. This can be done without any drilling!

How? This I'm very interested it...

Hang a monster cargo net across it. Go nuts and run a couple lines across the room if you want!

I'm actually thinking of running plastic chain similar to what Wrench has for Salty across the room from their cages, or at least from some play perches that are closer to that spot.
